Voltaren Emulgel is used in the treatment of painful, localized and/or inflammatory conditions of arthritis and/or osteoarthritis, including localized pain. It relieves the pain of arthritis, inflammation and swelling. Voltaren Emulgel is applied to the joint, skin or other areas of the body. The gel may be used on a daily basis.
It is important to apply Voltaren Emulgel exactly as your doctor or pharmacist prescribes it. The amount that can be applied depends on your condition, and should be the same for each person. You may use a tube or the liquid in the liquid form.
You should also wash your hands after applying the gel and avoid rubbing the gel in place for at least 10 minutes after applying the gel.

If you miss a dose of Voltaren Emulgel, apply it as soon as you remember, unless it is time for your next dose, then continue with the next dose as usual. Do not apply extra amount of gel to any dose.
Voltaren Emulgel should be stored at room temperature in a cool dry place. The gel is then kept away from your skin, eyes, ears or nose. The ingredients such as propylene glycol, butylhydroxytoluene, purified water, sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium starch glycolate, cornstarch or diclofenac are not recommended.
Avoid using Voltaren Emulgel on any kind of use, including sexual, emotional or physical use. You may ask your pharmacist for advice about using it on a regular basis.
